Washington State Bank offers Money Markets & Savings Accounts that offer a wide variety of flexibilty.  We are constantly monitoring the local markets to make sure our accounts are offering some of the best rates, as well as some of the best features.   
 
Tiered Money Market 
 
Minimum balance to open the account - $1,500.00   
Minimum balance to avoid imposition of fees - A service charge of $3.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in  the account falls below $1,500.00 any day of the cycle.   
Minimum balance to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed - You must maintain a minimum balance of $1,500.00 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield. 
Rate Information - Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change. 
Frequency of Rate Changes - We may change the interest rate on your account at any time. 
Determination of rate - At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account. 
Compounding and crediting frequency - Interest will be compounded and credited to your account quarterly.  
Transaction limitations - Transfers from a Money Market Deposit account to another account or to third parties by pre-authorized, automatic, telephone transfer, check, draft or similar order to third parties are limited to six per statement cycle. 
Daily balance computation method - We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account.  This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.   
Accrual of interest on non-cash deposits - Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items. (for example, checks) 
 
Statement Savings Account 
 
Minimum balance to open the account - $100.00.  This will not apply to students (full-time) up to the age of 23, nonprofit organizations, trusts, estates, public funds, and person 62 years of age or older.  You must notify us of your status to qualify for this exemption. 
Minimum balance to avoid imposition of fees - A service charge of $3.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the balance in  the account falls below $100.00 any day of the cycle.  This service charge will not apply to students (full-time) up to the age of 23, nonprofit organizations, trusts, estates, public funds and persons 62 years of age or older. You must notify us of your status to qualify for this exemption.

Fees - A per item fee of $.75 will be charged for each debit transaction in excess of eighteen per quarter.
